Getting It Down
Why list making provides comfort and security to the neurotic and lost souls of today.
I keep lists. They serve as mileposts and reminders of important tasks I hope to accomplish. I value my list collection, which I record on small spiral notepads and store in plastic bins from Target. These bins line my cellar and closet floors. List making keeps one stimulated and focused. I’d like to share some examples. My health and well being list is useful. I record annoying aches and pains such as headaches, charley horses, bruises, scrapes, and the occasional toothache or upset stomach. It’s not insulting to be called a hypochondriac by those too busy with life to notice their body parts wearing down.
